(Introduction)
Memorial Day doesn’t need more noise.
It needs meaning.
We built #PoppyInMemory to shift the conversation from recognition to remembrance. Inspired by the legacy of the poppy and the words of In Flanders Fields, the idea was simple: give people a way to honor the fallen that felt personal, not performative.
At the center was a virtual poppy wall, a living space where stories could be shared, names could be remembered, and grief could be expressed in a way that felt real. Around it, a phased, social-first approach used film, 360 storytelling, and platform-specific content to educate, inspire, and invite participation.
Not just to watch.
To take part.
What started as a campaign became something bigger, a collective act of remembrance carried by the community itself. Thousands of dedications. Millions reached. And a signal that when you give people the right way to show up, they will.
Because honoring the fallen isn’t about a moment.
It’s about making sure they’re never forgotten.
