AT Meta, we built We Create to connect both, not as a gesture, but as a system.

At its core was a simple idea: put opportunity back into motion. We paired Black creatives with Black-owned small businesses and gave them what they both needed, access, resources, and a platform to build something real together.

Fifteen partnerships.
Fifteen businesses with specific challenges.
Fifteen creators solving them in real time.

The work wasn’t theoretical. It was built for Instagram, by the people who understand it best, turning insight into content that could actually drive visibility, growth, and survival.

But the impact went both ways.

Creatives were paid, supported, and seen.
Businesses received world-class creative they wouldn’t otherwise have access to.
And the platform did what it’s supposed to do, connect people in ways that create value.

Because empowerment isn’t about giving people a voice.
It’s about giving them the tools to be heard.
